What I'm reading this week...(March 6th - March 10th)
Architecture as a prompt for storytelling - A conversation between Mariam Issoufou Kamara & Aïcha Macky
As someone who has spent several years in Niamey, Niger, I found this conversation to be both refreshing and inspiring as both a storyteller and a pan-African. It is evident to anyone who watches this conversation that there is a strong bond between these two ladies, and their passion for storytelling shines through.
As storytellers, we have a responsibility to translate the world around us and bring it to life for our audience. This conversation left me feeling excited about the ongoing work of reclaiming ownership of our stories. It is a must-watch for anyone interested in the power of storytelling and its ability to connect us as humans, no matter your discipline.
